How To Wear White After Labor Day

"You can't wear white after Labor Day." We've all heard it, and for the most part, we've all been following this rule. Sam Saboura thinks it's time to break with tradition! He recently shared some great tips on wearing white jeans into fall with his friend Giada de Laurentiis. So we've rounded up a few more of Sam's favorite high fashion ways to break the rules.

First up is Lady Gaga at the Emmy's. We love her look, and you can easily translate it into your own wardrobe! Search for an off the shoulder white top or dress; it shouldn't be too hard to find, this style is popping up everywhere in stores right now!

A great way to ease into wearing winter whites is with accessories. We agree with Sam on his love for navy and white, and think the combination works just as well in summer as it does the rest of the year.

The 70s are already huge for fall. Find a white dress in a floaty style and pair it with dark accessories for a look that will work all the way to spring.

Cream and off white can often look even better in the fall than a stark summer white. Notice how the white and cream dresses in the image above really stand out from their darker, more colorful counterparts.

If Chanel and Alexander McQueen think white and black and ruffles are going to be big for fall, who are we to argue?

Lastly, we'll leave you with this 'gorgeousness'! A white shaggy coat and white silk pants is a truly decadent look for winter!

If Sam says white is OK after Labor Day, then we say white is OK after Labor Day. We hope you forget all the rules next time you get dressed, and that Sam's picks have given you some shopping inspiration!
